Ron: Romilly Madew (The case for diversity in leadership roles, CT 5/8/23, p. 27) assumes life revolves around paid employment and that women “employees” must be supported by getting parental leave, childcare and elimination of “the gender pay gap”, to achieve “success”. That necessarily requires men getting “gender bias training” and losing “success” to ensure that women advance their careers.
Romilly’s advocating increased female paid employment participation and policies facilitating woman’s work-life integration, assumes the future will mirror the past despite AI and robots replacing human labour requirements. She also assumes females’ bearing and raising children is subsidiary to paid workforce employment.
Neither is true. Child rearing and home making are essential human tasks whereas ensuring women (or men) do tasks performed by AI and robots isn’t. Failing to understand that AI and technology have eliminated wage slavery is a leadership failure.
Wage slavery is dead. AI, robotics, Tesla-style “free energy” and electro-magnetic anti-gravity travel and transport modes will give women (and men) freedom from slavery.
Capitalism’s wage slavery employment competition model must be replaced by community control of AI, robots and their productivity; and its distribution, if humans are to survive on this planet.
We live in an abundant world in which false leadership artificially creates competition, scarcity and want as societal control mechanisms. Feminism’s emphasis on forcing females into tax paying wage slavery is crucial to that control mechanism.
Women (and men) must be free to choose lifestyles and activities best suited to their abilities and proclivities and AI and robots now make that possible.
For that to happen leaders need to accept that entire communities, not LEADERS, must decide, implement and control socio-political policies.
Future careers and life activities will be chosen as a matter of preference not necessity and everyone will do what they do for love, not money. Females will choose to be mothers and homemakers or pursue other positive activities once wage slavery is abolished.
Continued use of word salads about “diversity” and workplace “equality” need to cease if we are to embrace the socio-political changes necessitated by human psychological and technological evolvement.
The future will not be about workplace rewards or forcing females to be part-time mothers and full time executives. Or about ‘diversity’ and ‘equality’ word salads. Our current dystopia is predicated upon false narratives about equality and diversity when the real cause of inequity, poverty and misery are our privatised monetary and banking systems.
Leaders honestly wanting women to have equal opportunities need to advocate elimination of the cause of inequity which is not male dominance but dominance by a small group of global bankers and corporatists who have manipulated banking and commerce to acquire most global wealth leaving 99.9% of humanity scrabbling for 10% of the wealth they create using the planet’s resources.
Pitting females against males is a bankers’ “culture war” ploy to prevent us understanding our reality:
